Not to be given during pregnancy & lactation. Childn. Pregabalin: Discontinue immediately if symptoms of hypersensitivity occurs eg, angioedema. Patients w/ compromised renal function or undergoing hemodialysis. Diabetic patients may gain wt, may need to adjust hypoglycemic medicinal products. Concomitant use w/ anti-spasticity agents. May influence ability to drive or use machines. Elderly. Methylcobalamin: Can mask folate deficiency. Pregabalin may cause blurred vision in some patients.
Pregabalin: May potentiate the effects of ethanol & lorazepam. Resp failure & coma w/ other CNS depressants. Additive impairment of cognitive & gross motor function caused by oxycodone.
